Coronet Head Large Cents

Coronet Head Large Cents, also called the Matron Head are a middle date series from 1816 to 1839. It features larger mintages but a good number of varieties. The design was modified in 1836 and several times until 1839 when the Petite Head of the Braided Hair type was created.
